Welcome to Drama (Term 3:Week 5)
These optional Drama activities are suitable for students in Years 5-6. There is a video to watch and an activity sheet with suggested activities. Feel free to invite your family members to participate in the performances.
CHARACTER TRANSFORMATIONS
You will..
- watch a skit by The Listies
- explore voice and movement to represent different characters
- write your own short scene.

Activity Sheet: Character Transformations
Performance ideas……. after watching the video
- try improvising the role of the king or queen; using your voice to represent the characters.
- Take a photo of your costumes and setting.
- Make a video as you improvise and explore different voices for the characters -use the setting you have created.
- Perform a conversation between the King and Queen. (Perhaps a family member can play one of the characters) Try using your voice and body to show the character.
- Take a photo or make a short video and feel free to share. You can do this by sending an email to me: msandstrom@bne.catholic.edu.au
